This is an original collaboration with Ruby Chase and Equanimous - two new friends that I met in Guatemala. We had a beautiful session in my studio there that resulted in the foundation for this track. It was so much fun to work with these guys because the creativity is just oozing out of them. Equanimous offered instrumentation through his incredibly talented keyboard skills in addition to percussion. Ruby channeled these powerful vocals that Equanimous and I both offered feedback to refine the flow and land something clear and impactful. The main lyrics are also complimented by Ruby’s light language that came out intuitively during our recording process.
